Statement of Beliefs

I believe in God, the creator of the universe, and in his son, Jesus Christ.

I believe in family, and the conservation of the family unit in America.

I believe that marriage can only ever be the union of one man and one woman.

I believe in Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

I believe in the individual liberty to pursuit ones own measure of happiness.

I believe in small government.

I believe that charity is the way to aid the less fortunate, not government social programs.

I believe that big government is ineffective, wasteful, and inherently corrupt.

I believe that most politicians have noble aims, though I often disagree with the way they pursuit them and I believe some of them fall victim to their own ambitions.

I believe that the Separation of Church and State was intended to prevent the government from setting up a state religion, like the Anglican Church, not to remove God from public life.

I believe that life begins at conception.

I believe that the Earth warms and cools cyclically, and that man has a minimal impact on climate, though I also believe men should be good stewards of the beauty that God has gifted us.

I believe that a democracy is the sum of it's people and is in constant danger from forces within.
